Haynes Building (Pinhole Image)

The images below were taken with a homemade pinhole camera constructed from a Quaker oatmeal can. The camera captured a contorted view of an iron window guard and an old factory. The swirling motion of the window guard and the angular, cropped view of the factory produce a fascinating and ambiguous image.

No... Where (Pinhole Images)

These images take the viewer on a distorted tour through the country. They are abstract, eerie and provoke thought from the viewer.

Ripped Euro-Tag (Digital Images)

While traveling in Europe in January of 2007, I was stunned by the European graffiti. Combined with the European atmosphere, it took on a different atheistic.

Newark "raw beauty" (Pinhole Images)

Newark, New Jersey is a area which has been viewed as the center of industrial breakdown. It's landscapes consist of broken down factories, abandoned buildings, trash and graffiti. Some view this type of atmosphere negatively. I look at it as a "raw beauty." There is something about broken pipes, fire escapes and rusty bridges that truly captivates me. The pinhole camera's ability to simplify the image only adds to Newark's modesty.
